Spiritual direction has been called “holy listening.”

In spiritual direction, two persons pledge to listen together for God’s voice in one of their lives. Spiritual directors are trained and practiced in recognizing and reflecting the presence and work of God. The focus of a spiritual-direction relationship is your experience (or lack of experience) with God. The true “director” in this relationship is God. I am simply a gentle guide.

Spiritual direction presumes that God is at work and communicates through ordinary human experience. In that experience, we find God’s invitations, urgings and confirmations. I am a prayerful companion on life’s spiritual journey.

MOST PEOPLE COME TO SPIRITUAL DIRECTION:

  • Seeking God in the complexities of life

  • Finding the “old ways” of faith are no longer working

  • Growing in self and God awareness

  • Looking for a safe and confidential place to process life and decisions

  • Wanting to heal their image of God and self

  • Longing for greater intimacy

Judy is a woman of wisdom, depth, and courage who lives authentically and transparently as she invites others to join her on the transformative journey of faith. She is a leader who thinks strategically and acts intentionally while remaining grounded in and surrendered to the deep work and presence of Jesus in her life.
